Tonya Mathison named administrative director of Wisconsin Partnership Program
The Wisconsin Partnership Program (WPP) at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health is pleased to announce that Tonya Mathison has been named its administrative director.
In this role, Tonya will provide administrative leadership, overall programmatic and operational direction and management of fiscal and human resources to advance the vision, mission and values of the Wisconsin Partnership Program.
“We are delighted to welcome Tonya into her new role as the Wisconsin Partnership Program’s administrative director,” said Amy Kind, MD, PhD, associate dean for social health sciences and programs at the School of Medicine and Public Health and executive director of the Wisconsin Partnership Program.
“Tonya brings a wealth of experience in strategic planning, grantmaking, policy and program development and demonstrated success in engagement and relationship-building among the Wisconsin Partnership Program’s many significant and diverse stakeholders and collaborators. Her experience coupled with her long-standing commitment to the work and mission of Wisconsin Partnership Program will continue to greatly benefit all those we serve.”
Tonya assumes this role following a wide and competitive recruitment process. She follows Megan Miller, WPP’s previous administrative director, who recently assumed the role of Chief Administrative Officer for the Office of the Associate Dean of Social Health Sciences and Programs.
Tonya has been a member of the Wisconsin Partnership Program team for more than 20 years, serving previously in program and administrative positions, and most recently as the Operations Associate Director. She is a graduate of the Wisconsin School of Business.
