Community grant funding opportunity now open

Wisconsin-based nonprofits, public 4K-12 schools, districts and tribal, state or local government entities are encouraged to apply for a Level Two: Accelerate Community Impact Grant, a funding opportunity released by the Wisconsin Partnership Program (WPP) at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.

Eligible organizations must have annual expenses of $500,000 or more. Letters of Intent are due June 3, 2024.

Accelerate grants have a maximum award amount of up to $500,000 for a duration of up to three years. An eligible academic partner is required. The WPP Oversight and Advisory Committee anticipates allocating up to five Accelerate awards during this grant cycle.

The Community Impact Grant Program supports community partnership initiatives that seek to improve health and advance health equity by addressing the social determinants of health in Wisconsin’s urban, rural and tribal communities.

Level Two: Accelerate is the second of two Community Impact Grant funding opportunities released this year. The application period for Level One: Engage Community Impact Grants closed on April 24, 2024.
