Megan Miller is the chief administrative officer for the Office of the Associate Dean for Social Health Sciences and Programs. In this position, she is responsible for broad administrative leadership across the office of Amy Kind, MD, PhD, who is the associate dean for social health sciences and programs at the School of Medicine and Public Health.

Megan’s responsibilities include cross-cutting programmatic strategic planning, liaising with key internal and external stakeholder groups, supervision of staff and other associated tasks to optimize operational effectiveness across the office’s portfolio. Within this position, she serves as the executive administrative director/chief operating officer for the Wisconsin Partnership Program and the Center for Health Disparities Research (CHDR).

Megan joined the School of Medicine and Public Health in April 2022 as the Wisconsin Partnership Program’s administrative director.  In this role she provided administrative leadership, overall programmatic and operational direction and management of fiscal and human resources to advance the mission and goals of the Wisconsin Partnership Program.

Prior to joining the Wisconsin Partnership Program, Megan served in administrative leadership roles with the Indiana University Center for Global Health and the Indiana Institute for Global Health in Indiana and Kenya, and the AMPATH Consortium, a global partnership of universities, health systems and governments with sites currently in Kenya, Ghana, and Mexico. In these roles, she fostered new partnerships and relationships with civic and corporate leaders from around the world, and has worked to implement sustainable programs to improve health and human flourishing, with a focus on health care, the social determinants of health and building economic stability within families and communities.

Megan has extensive experience in program implementation, working cross-culturally, and fostering collaborative relationships locally and globally. She has worked closely with a wide variety of partners including physician leaders, faculty and university staff, nonprofit and university partners as well as local, state, national and international leaders and a network of supporters and donors.
