Ashley Benitez, BS, is the communications project assistant for the Wisconsin Partnership Program. In this role, Ashley works to support the communications team by developing and managing content to support WPP grant programs and to highlight the progress, impact and achievements of grant recipients.
Ashley is currently a graduate student pursuing her Master of Public Health (MPH) degree from UW–Madison. She previously received her bachelor of science in neurobiology and a certificate in global health from UW–Madison. Prior to this role, she worked as an undergraduate research assistant for Dr. Maria Mora Pinzon under Dr. Mora Pinzon’s WPP COVID-19 Response Grant. She later joined Dr. Mora Pinzon’s emerging lab, Remembering Together, at the Wisconsin Alzheimer’s Institute. As a graduate student, Ashley helps support the Division of Infectious Diseases, working in Dr. Ryan Westergaard’s lab and focusing on HIV care.
