Thirty-one Wisconsin communities have been recognized for their work to improve health through the Wisconsin Healthy Communities Designation, a new initiative offered by the UW Population Health Institute and funded by the Wisconsin Partnership Program. The initiative celebrates and encourages achievements in health improvement in Wisconsin and serves as a guide for communities to expand and enhance their health improvement efforts. The Healthy Community Designation lasts for three years, and the inaugural communities will be recognized at the 2018 Healthiest State Summit.
