Ms. Yu currently serves as a program training specialist at the Wisconsin Primary Health Care Association (WPHCA), a nonprofit association for Wisconsin’s 19 community health centers. In this role, she leads statewide initiatives that address health, community well-being, workforce development and health care services. She has facilitated leadership trainings statewide, co-led innovative pilot programs such as a medical-legal partnership and a medical assistant apprenticeship, and contributed to the national Primary Care Association’s All People Thriving committee. Ms. Yu is a dedicated public health professional whose background and expertise will help guide OAC in its work to support public health initiatives that advance WPP’s mission to improve health and advance health equity in Wisconsin.

The Wisconsin Partnership Program is governed by two committees, the Oversight and Advisory Committee (OAC) and the Partnership Education and Research Committee (PERC). OAC directs and approves funds for public health initiatives and provides public representation through the committee’s four community members. PERC allocates and distributes funds designated for medical education and research initiatives that advance population health.
