Megan Miller, MPA, will serve as the chief administrative officer for social health sciences and programs in the UW School of Medicine and Public Health. In this inaugural role, Miller will be responsible for broad administrative leadership across the office of Amy Kind, MD, PhD, who is the associate dean for social health sciences and programs.

Miller’s responsibilities include cross-cutting programmatic strategic planning, liaising with key internal and external stakeholder groups, supervision of staff and other associated tasks to optimize operational effectiveness across the office’s portfolio. Within this position, she will also serve as an Executive Administrative Director/Chief Operating Officer for the Wisconsin Partnership Program and the Center for Health Disparities Research (CHDR).

“I am pleased to welcome Megan to this new role and position,” said Kind. “She brings strong leadership experience and expertise that will greatly enhance our ability to create synergies and collaboration across our portfolio and further strengthen our overarching program to address health disparities across Wisconsin and beyond.”

Miller joined the School of Medicine and Public Health in April 2022 as the Wisconsin Partnership Program’s administrative director. Prior to joining the Wisconsin Partnership Program, she worked for the Indiana University Center for Global Health for thirteen years, serving as its associate director since 2016.
