Prior to joining the Office of the Commissioner of Insurance, Stegall worked in the Wisconsin State Legislature for eight years, with a focus on health and human services. She says, “I look forward to participating on OAC and learning more about the OAC applicants and grantees, and the health improvements they seek to achieve for their communities.”

Stegall is originally from Racine, Wisconsin. She holds a bachelor’s of science in social work from UW–Oshkosh. Her volunteer work focuses on supporting homeless women and children.

The Wisconsin Partnership Program and the UW School of Medicine and Public Health welcome Stegall to her new role.
